High School Highlights: Edwin was the starting forward for varsity and have been since his freshman year (2006-2009). He has varsity lettered in soccer at Logan High School all four years. He was named on the All- Valley Team by the Logan Herald Journal in 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009. During his freshman year, he was named Newcomer of the year on the 2006 All- Valley Boys Soccer Team. Edwin received All- State recognition by the Deseret Morning News in 2006-2009. He was MVP and Captain in 2009. Also, he was the leading scorer in the valley for 2006 -2009 with 18 goals (5 preseason, 13 in season) and 5 assists in 2006. 8 goals with 6 assists in 2007, 10 goals with 9 assists for 2008, and 16 goals with 9 assist in 2009. Edwin was also named 2009 All-Valley Boys Soccer Player of the year.
Club Team: Valencia, Inter FC, Rush
Club Achievements: Edwin has also played on club teams such as Inter FC, Valencia, and Rush and was the starting forward for all three clubs. While at Inter FC, he and the club were the State Cup Champions and placed 3rd in the Region in 2005 which ranked them in 13th place in the nation. The Rush team he played on placed 2nd in State Cup in 2006 and 2008.
